Scott Poore is renowned for his relentless passion, creativity, and commitment to finding long-term shelter pets their forever homes. When he hears about an animal shelter in desperate need, he doesn't hesitate—he advocates, steps in, and facilitates life-changing donations.
Through years of animal rescue work, Scott recognized a significant challenge: rural animal shelters face steeper hurdles with adoptions and financial support compared to their urban counterparts. With smaller communities come fewer visitors and donations. But what if we could bring foot traffic to them virtually? What if this increased visibility led to critical funding and emergency medical care? Rural shelters would experience transformational change. This vision inspired the creation of On A Mission KC, which is dedicated to improving the lives of rural shelter pets across the Midwest.
